Theology on Tap
In the spirit of Martin Luther, we gather at a local haunt for some good beer and theological discussion! We do this on the first Thursday of every month. Open to all ages (21+ of course), we enjoy an hour and a half of fellowship over drinks (and food if you desire), as we explore the mysteries of scripture and of faith. Always an enlightening endeavor, we have been known to discuss questions surrounding the nature of the Trinity, the Old and New Covenant, and Epiphany. Come join us! We grab a table in the back of the Olney Ale House at 7:30 p.m. the first Thursday of the month.
Lenten Suppers
During Lent we gather for study, song, and supper together on Wednesday evenings. 2011’s dates are March 16th, March 30th, and April 13th. If you are interested in participating please contact the church office, as we normally plan meals as a potluck. We traditionally begin at 6:00 p.m. All ages are invited (there are separate activities for kids while the adults participate in study).
Supper for Six
Periodically dinner groups are put together, rotating homes on different months. This is a great way to get to know each other and enjoy a meal together! It is called “Supper for Six” because it has traditionally included six people, whether groups of couples or singles.
