New Hope Presbyterian Church
McKinnon family

Our support ofthe McKinnon family helps to enable them to continue their missionary work in Brazil. Simone and Matthew McKinnon teach at the Pan American Christian Academy (PACA) which is a school for the children of missionaries. They also work in their community to further educate the local people and bring the love and life of God into their lives.

They have four young sons -the newest (Nolan) arrived in May, 2000. As the niece and nephew of a founding New Hope family (and children of missionaries) the McKinnons hold a special place in our hearts.

They visited with our congregation in the early part of 1999, when they were in the United States for a year. It was heartwarming to hear their stories and feel their deep commitment to a life in Christ. We hear from them about every month through e-mails and enjoy their news about their children and their prayer concerns. April, 2001 news.

December, 2000 update - here's a picture of Matthew and Nolan taken in November.
